American Tomahawk Model 2 - Gray/Stained Hickory

The American Tomahawk Model 2 is a change of pace from the Model 1, with some familiar details. The same handle profile is used, but the Model 2 is topped with a bad@$$ bearded hammer poll head profile meant for serious chopping, hammering, cutting and smashing! The forged head features a forward cutting edge with large beard on one side and a hammer poll on the other side, and has a black powder coat finish. The bearded design means you can grab the handle right behind the blade for easier handling on finer work. The head is securely connected to a separate handle, for a light weight and traditional design that is easy to maintain. The Model 2 is designed to be small and light enough to lug around on foot day after day, but big enough to serve as your light weight axe/chopping/smashing tool. The Model 2 comes with a molded bottom-eject kydex sheath with retaining strap and included RMJ Tactical Low-Ride M.O.C. rings (and is easy to set up for left handed or right handed carry or add your own mounting solution). The Blade: Drop-forged 1060 with bearded forward edge, rear hammer poll, and durable powder coat finish.
The Handle: Tennessee Hickory handle shaft with faceted, sculpted profile and given a darker stained finish. Lanyard hole on the butt end.
