Biegler Bladeworks: Caprica Six - Tumbled/Black Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern

The Caprica was one of Biegler Bladeworks most popular designs, a stunning, sweeping blade that was an excellent EDC blade for daily tasks and defensive needs. Fast forward many years, and Brian decided to revisit the Caprica, using modern machining methods he did not have access to when making the original. The resulting newly designed Caprica is a radical, practical and visually striking blade striking to it's well-rounded EDC roots. The first thing you notice on the Caprica is the blade. The recurve spearpoint blade is designed to give balance to the utility of the profile, with both a large flat ground recurve section, and a more general use forward curving profile. This allows the user to slice, pierce, pull-cut, and more, all with the same profile. The forward edge is convex ground for a reinforced tip and forward edge, giving you more strength. The upper (unsharpened) swedge flows into an oversized thumb groove, that gives you better control, and reduces weight and footprint. The handle profile features an angular design that allows the right fingers to rest in the right places, for an incredibly locked in grip in both a standard and reverse grip. Contoured and textured G10 handle scales featuring Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern aid grip without being abrasive. The caprica comes in a molded kydex sheath with IWB snap loop, and can be configured with your preferred mounting solution.
