The next addition to the Blackside Custom's edged tool lineup: The Fairgate!
If you didn't already know, us Monkey's are a bit obsessed with old school militaria, weapons and gear. While we LOVE the pieces that 'used to be made', unfortunately it's not practical to use and carry that gear a lot of the time. Well, the next addition to the Blackside Customs edged tools lineup is a killer take on the original smatchet! Sharing a similar design with a touch of modern and Blackside Customs flair, the Fairgate is one mean fighting, smashing, and slashing machine. Featuring a large and wide dagger ground blade profile with a black multicam Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance. The handle fits great in hand, with or without gloves, and the Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern aluminum grips with added textured cutouts make for a not too aggressive, but secure grip. The handle scales are held in place with custom blasted titanium hardware and has a lanyard hole at the butt end. Each one comes with a kydex sheath ready ready to be outfitted with your preferred mounting solution.
The Blade: large and wide dagger ground blade and given an OD green Cerakote finish with 1941 star.
The Handle: Black 6061 aluminum handle scales with a black hard anodized coating sporting some killer Monkey Edge FRAG Pattern and extra milled details for a solid and secure grip. Lanyard hole at the butt end. Black custom titanium hardware.
