The next addition to the Blackside Custom's edged tool lineup: The Fairgate!
If you didn't already know, us Monkey's are a bit obsessed with old school militaria, weapons and gear. While we LOVE the pieces that 'used to be made', unfortunately it's not practical to use and carry that gear a lot of the time. Well, the next addition to the Blackside Customs edged tools lineup is a killer take on the original smatchet! Sharing a similar design with a touch of modern and Blackside Customs flair, the Fairgate is one mean fighting, smashing, and slashing machine. Featuring a large and wide dagger ground blade profile with a black Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance. The handle fits great in hand, with or without gloves, and the peel ply textured G10 grips with added textured cutouts make for a not too aggressive, but secure grip. The handle scales are held in place with custom titanium hardware and has a lanyard hole at the butt end. Each one comes with a kydex sheath ready ready to be outfitted with your preferred mounting solution.
The Blade: Large and wide dagger ground blade and given a intricate Beskar finish.
The Handle: Black G10 handle scales with peel ply texture and extra milled details for a solid and secure grip. Lanyard hole at the butt end. Black custom titanium hardware.
