Well boys and girls, Hinderer knives has done just that and then some! Rick has been intrigued by the idea for some time and has been refining his design concept for a few years now to get it 'just right'. When you get a hold of the Maximus, you will agree immediately that he nailed it.

The Blade: Bayonet grind has a cool old school vibe, with a dagger profile and forward upper swedge. The top edge is unsharpened to make closing a bit easier yet keeps the slim profile for excellent slicing and general use. Finished with Hinderer's Battle Black Finish.

Tri-Way Pivot System: Hinderer's new Tri-Way pivot system lets you configure your knife further than ever before! The system lets the end-user configure their knife's pivot system to their own personal preference, with choice of bearing, teflon washers or bronze phosphor washers. Simply disassemble the knife*, and install whichever option suits your needs!
Note: Disassembly of pivot is required to change pivot system. Hinderer Armorer Tool is recommended for the job. Remember, use the right tools, or feel like a fool!
