The OT is a step away from Joe's normal designs, that of super lightning fast, no-nonsense defensive knives. That's not to say that its not both lightning fast and no-nonsense, but that the design definitely has more of an all-round utility blade design in mind. The drop point blade is excellent at all sorts of tasks. The thinner stock makes for superb slicing. The larger handle is easy to control in multiple positions, yet sized to be carried all day. The handle profile feels more akin to a utility knife/chef's knife. Comes with a Tracker Dan kydex sheath with IWB clip.
The Blade: Hand ground spearpoint profile with a full flat grind featuring a blasted finish.
The Handle: Sculpted and contoured center swell black micarta handle scales.
The Sheath: Ambidextrous Tracker Dan Kydex sheath with integrated IWB clip.
About Joe Watson: Joe Watson is like the stealth Bomber of the knife making world (back when it was classified). There tend to be knife collectors, and then knife users, and by users we mean guys doing serious stuff that train with a blade as a way of life. If you have heard of Joe Watson, they have probably come from these users. No flash, no hype. Just clean, purpose built, hand crafted defensive tools.
