Milt Sparks Holsters: Versa-Max 2

The Milt Sparks Versa-Max 2 is one of the most duplicated IWB holster designs, so you gotta wonder why everyone wants to get a piece of the design pie! The Versa-Max 2, or VM-2 for short, is designed around keeping your gear as close to the wearer as possible, while still offering fast access with a full grip. The VM-2 features a similar rake angle and reinforced mouth-band and sweat guard as the famous Summer Special, but sets itself apart by completely changing some key aspects. The belt loops are relocated outboard of the main holster body which allows the overall profile to be very slim and fit as close to the wearer as possible. The forward loop's base has been slotted to add more flexibility when wrapping around your side, for more comfort and better concealability. Designed to be worn slightly behind the point of the hip, this wider setup also adds stability, making sure the VM-2 will not twist or rotate as you move. Don't worry though, the close proximity to your skin is no problem thanks to the oversized sweat-guard. This extension of the mouth band works double time to keep your sweat from contacting your gun, and keeps the hard angles and uncomfortable components of your gun from pressing into your soft squishy bits. The medium ride height is designed to give you a very concealable profile, while at the same time offering a full grip to grab onto when drawing. As is the steel-reinforced cowhide mouth band that makes sure that the VM-2 stays open and ready, even when empty and being pressed in by your belt and pants. The molded sight track gives clearance for your front sight, so there are no snags when drawing or re-holstering. The overall design makes the VM-2 well suited for pretty much any practical carry pistol, and is a comfortable and easy-to-conceal holster option. You can even replace the leather snap loops with kydex clips to make the VM-2 easily tuckable from the top down (kydex clip snot included). Note: Some pictures may not show the specific holster for the selected firearm. These VM-2's feature smooth-out construction and one-way snaps. The body-side of the holster is sturdy horsehide, with a cowhide mouth-band and sweat guard. Configured for right-handed shooters (holster on the right side, mag carriers on the left side). Note: these holsters are not optics-ready unless denoted on the model selection with "Optics Ready". Optics compatibility depends on the exact optic you are using, so be aware that some will not fit.
