The anodized aluminum handle features slight contouring for a comfortable and secure grip. The butt-end features a machined lanyard hole for attaching a lanyard or bead. For those unfamiliar with button locks: This is not an automatic knife. The button is just the locking system. It does not need to be pressed to deploy the blade. It is just pressed to unlock the blade in order to close it.
