Construction: The body, tip, and cap are all ZircuTi precision machined in the US of A. Machined zirconium pocket clip, bolt and handle.

Pen Function: The Schmidt ink refill is deployed using the spring loaded bolt lever on the side of the pen. Push down and over and write away. A quick push back toward the clip and the spring takes over and snaps the tip back up.
