Kiku Matsuda's Betsu-Kamui was designed to fill a smaller, lighter general purpose field blade role. The clip point profile blade has a Hamaguri-ba (convex zero-grind) bevel and upper swedge. This puts more strength and weight behind the edge, allowing for a thinner blade stock that still has plenty of strength. The clip point profile allows for finer work at the tip while keeping enough heft for rougher work. The spine has extra jimping for better control during finer cutting tasks. The black G10 handles are sculpted to help the knife stay put during hard use. Comes in a molded kydex sheath ready for your preferred mounting solution.
