TAS Knives Folder: Venatrix Prototype - Tumbled/Titanium

This Venatrix is the first framelock folder ever made from TAS Knives! The thick drop point blade provides durability and paired with the compound hand hollow ground edge makes for a super slicy edge that is perfect for cutting and hunting tasks like the name implies. The beefy titanium frame features a bronzeish purple anodized finish and is topped off with a decorative PET-CF plastic scale for added looks. The blade features a thumb ramp and jimping in key areas for finer control. A reversible milled titanium pocket clip keeps everything in place. The Venatrix packs a ton of details and features:

• Large double thumb studs for ease of opening and ambidextrous use.
• Beefy titanium frame lock with a hardened 440c steel lock insert.
• Contoured PET-CF plastic scales with crater details.
• Ceramic detent ball.
• Running on copper washers ensuring a smooth action.
• Reversible milled titanium pocket clip.
• Titanium backspacer with built in lanyard hole.

The Blade: Hand hollow compound ground drop point blade profile with a satin tumbled finish.

The Handle: Beefy titanium framelock with a bronze/purple anodized finish, PET-CF contoured scales, and a reversible milled titanium pocket clip. Lanyard hole at butt end.

TAS Knives are hand crafted by designer and maker Soso Tumasov from Tbilisi, Georgia (as in the country Georgia not the state). Many of Soso's pieces have an unique almost cyberpunk, futuristic apocalypse vibe to them, setting them apart from most of the blades you see on the market today. On top of the killer aesthetics, he also incorporates complex multi angle grind lines in his blades that truly show off his talent and dedication to the craft and is amazing at finishing common knife making materials such as titanium in a very innovative manner for an end result that stands out and execution that actually delivers.
